Short film ‘Toy Shelf’ for Brief Encounters Toowoomba

Short film for Brief Encounters Toowoomba, called ‘Toy Shelf’

This short film is strange without context, so let me set you up a little; it plays at the start of our show, then the stage lights up and it is a life sized version of a work bench. There are novelty oversized erasers, needles, pincushions, pencils, thread spools….. then the (Matt Collins and my own’s) characters come to life, and they are identical versions of the broken dolls left on the shelf.

I have a lot of people to thank in putting together this show. For example, Matt C. and I know nothing about film, and Matthew Dalamaras helped us put it together. Sound, post filming effects, he did all that. Matt C. and I took things off a shelf for about three minutes.

Thank you, Matthew Dalamaras.
