I have been crocheting a hat in Fair Isle stitch using nine colours. Here are some work-in-progress shots.

Some crocheted October yarn storms I put these ones up over the weekend. I had some friends come into town and we went for a walk to get ice-cream. I took some terrible photos for posterity. You may recognise some of the crochets wool pieces from this and this previous post. That is all.
Amigurumi and Fair Isle crocheting have been two crochet techniques I have enjoyed working on for about the last month. I made a 3-dimensional squid in a hat (with a moustache); It reminds me of Thomson and Thompson. Except there’s only one squid, so…..just Thomson then. Then I properly learned the technique for Fair Isle
