Under the sea amigurumi
Trying out a few different patches and mobile pieces which led me to a bit of underwater themed crochet.
Two dimensional and three dimensional jellyfish!
I used pastel colours on the flat for the body and a complimentary blue wool for the free hanging tentacles.
This one is for sale through the Depop shop @kellymarietheartist.
Also combined two interests to create a jelleyefish…
And I messed around with some UV reactive wool and LEDs to create phosphorescent sea creatures.
Visual artist originally from Australia, travelling the world creating crocheted wearable art and functional textile pieces.
Sustainable art and slow fashion made from recycled fabrics, wools and metal.
Colourful. Psychedelic. Unique.
