  • Crafternoon Feb 11th; Lantern decoupage

The very cool and switched on Alison Mooney from MARS invited me to go dumpster diving recently. Look what I found! Today I do something new. Just what I’ve always wanted, one of those things. But in decoupage. So, I went to some sites to find out how to decoupage.  Because there’s nothing I like better

  • My felting process

Newly complete pieces. Afterbirth, wet cats, throw up…You don’t even need to think it. I know. You’ll note I’ve titled this post My felting process. It is a pretty rough n’ ready process, and I am not creating a finished product that is designed to be worn, machine-washed or subjected to any physical stress. What

  • Felting phase 1: Complete!

Finally, finished. At three o’clock in the morning that night, I had completed the rest of the wool teasing process. It’s been awhile. I have some study commitments, and like most, have to hold down ‘a real job’. Fortunately, it’s one I love, and I’m learning new things every day. I haven’t stopped though, just slowed to a crawl. Here’s what I have been up to in the meantime: 150+ mushrooms, slowly, slowly. So, I have

  • Pimp My Dress #1

I altered this dress for my birthday. I found it for $3 at an op-shop called the Good Samaritan. It is one of my favourites, as they have a $2 costume bin I dive into every time I am in the store. Costumes….more like every day casual wear! Also, the dress did not have a tag, and
